Rebecca is knowledgeable, caring and communicated well with the group regardless of age or experience level. The class is great for those that have some basic familiarity with their cameras. Being outside and walking around gave us a great opportunity to really look at every day "things" in a different way and find interesting images we may have never considered before. She also encouraged questions.

Rebecca is very organized and structured, teaching beginners within the time constraints of the workshop is very difficult, she made it look easy.

As I was walking down the trail, I saw this great egret stalking something along the water's edge. It finally captured this soft-shelled turtle but it was too big for it to swallow so the turtle lived to see another day

Caught this Great Egret preening itself while at the park, the green foliage background gave the image some nice contrast. I was in the park early before the big crowds get there, you have a much better chance at seeing some great wildlife if you get to the park early in the morning. Image taken with my trusty Olympus E-M1X and 100-400 lens.

This capture has a few things that some might not thoughts of using for a picture. I will start with I used a white poster board that you can buy at any of your local stationary store. After editing the capture, I added the backdrop that you are seeing in the capture. Now, the idea of this capture came to me when I was having a down time for myself when suddenly the idea came to me. I wanted to come up with something cute and funny all at the same time.
